Gameboy Color Picture Frameby *OneEyedMe

This is a project I had for 3D Design class a few weeks back. The only rules were to make anything you wanted as long as it was mostly out of poster board, so I made this Gameboy Color 3x it's size.

It's a Gameboy Color that you can use as a picture frame. Complete with game socket, removable game, batteries area, removable batteries, a changeable screen, and 3D buttons! Woo!

Unfortunately this was only a participation grade, blah. I think it took me like 10 hours and I had to keep myself from adding details like cord sockets and moving volume control. AH WELL MAYBE ANOTHER TIME.

And yes, that is the picture of me, ~JanitorJoe and ~vernanonix that we edited back in September. =3=

This is very nice and well designed. I loved the 3D buttons, they make it look so real! The idea of making it a photoframe was excellent, that made me want one to put on my desk. I'm definetely in love with this.
